
Azores
The Azores archipelago is formed by nine islands and several islets and is located in the North Atlantic.
The archipelago is mild, the average temperature ranging from about 14 º C in winter and 22 º C in summer like people say, it is possible to feel the 4 seasons in one day.
All islands are from volcanic origin, historical eruptions happened on the islands of São Miguel, Terceira, São Jorge, Pico and Faial. The volcanism remains active on several islands, being harnessed as a source of geothermal energy.
Known as one of the best places to travel, in the sea is where you can find the greatest fascination. Crystal clear waters, large variety of fish, whales and sharks. You can dive in the Azores almost throughout the year, but the best seasons are between June and November.
All this, makes the Azores an excellent place for a diving trip.
